Modelling Climate Change
Students will analyze modern simulations of climate and climate change, assess the processes involved in global warming and other aspects of climate change, and compare the simulations with observations. Research group focuses on atmospheric circulation, as well as snow and sea ice processes.
Students will prepare an oral presentation and a final written report. Codes should be well documented and a lab book or similar should be kept for reference for subsequent projects.
Time commitment
6-10 hours per week
Completed first year, CGPA 3.3+. Python programming experience, multivariate calculus, ODEs. Also, knowledge of PDEs if possible.
