We are currently assessing the pre- and post-retrofit of three social housing buildings in Toronto. This assessment involves determining how air flow through the building changes before and after an overcladding retrofit. Our team needs help during the 2017/2018 school year to measure fresh air supply during fall, winter and spring conditions. This work will involve a few trips to site, where the student will use a calibrated fan to measure air flow rates.
Presentation and analysis of the data collected from the site visits.
2-4 hours per week on average but will include a few full days on site over the year
Good technical writing skills and attention to detail. Civil or mechanical engineering (though not essential), min 3.5 GPA.
